My Philosophy
There are times when a user simply needs to be walked through the use of a new software product, especially when the product is cutting edge or introduces new functionality. Online tutorials can be an effective way to introduce users to the capabilities and paradigms of your product. A good tutorial will quickly help users past their hesitancy to try something new and introduce concepts which can be applied throughout a consistent user interface.
